I absolutely love a good burger!
So, for you, what makes The Perfect Burger? Personally, I don’t really like tomato on my burger (unless they’re sun dried).
On my quest for the perfect burger I had a nosey around the tinterweb to see what ingredients should be used. For me, a homemade burger (or bought one for that matter) should consist of some or all of the following:
- Ground/minced beef
- Onion
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley, coriander)
- spices (cumin, coriander, chilli
- bone marrow
The recipe is very simple, but the flavours are incredible:
Dressing your burger
What are your favourite burger toppings?:
- Lettuce
- Tomato (not for me thanks)
- Cheese (millions of varieties)
- Pickles
- Onion (raw, pickled, fried, battered, tobacco’d etc)
- Sauce (ketchup, mustard, HP, BBQ, mayo etc)
- Jalapeño’s
- Bacon (mmmmm, bacon)
- and the list goes on indefinitely
